So this rug came in the other day and I said to Jamie my plant manager, “Is that an Oushak rug?” She said it wasn’t and she explained that the customer who called us to pick up this rug said his rug used to have bright colors. He had a rug cleaner steam cleaned his rug in the house which stripped the rug of its color; therefore, making it look like at first glance an Oushak rug. I was amazed so I went on my hands and knees to look at the back and also feel for the softness that an Oushak rug usually has. And wow was I amazed it really wasn’t an Oushak.
