Today is Friday 13th, oh my god. I didn’t realize that when I was getting ready to write a blog post for the end of the week. We had a terrific week here at the shop with a lot of very large rugs maybe without the usual high volume of rugs coming in but just enough that I was able to have projects done at my shop. Yesterday three people complimented one of my workers Eldridge about how clean the shop was. Of course that makes me very happy to hear, I didn’t hear it from the client’s myself but that is what Eldridge said. I wonder if he’s playing with me because he knows it makes me happy seeing a really clean shop. Heck, I just assume it’s true and pat myself on the back for successfully driving the crew crazy on keeping this white shop clean, their nightmare my joy, LOL! I really do love my crew here!

Remove Pet Odor
Speaking of white, as I said, we had a little downtime today and yesterday so I had the repair room painted from the yellow tinted room it was to the new color room and if you guessed white you are correct. Ok, no LOL but I am laughing. Today I also got a huge order of persian, wool on cones that I have been patiently waiting for. So we installed new shelves and tried to color coordinate it. Enclosed you will see a photo of the 45 new cones of wool to be added to our collection so we can surge sides of rugs with greater bleeding in. Early next week I am expecting 50 new hanks, 1/4 lb, of Persian wool from a different company. A lot of the same colors but I am going to be so excited to see that the colors. They will be slightly off so we have a greater chance of doing repairs to great accuracy.

We keep this up until we do not see any yellow. Let me assure you and your friends if you ever pick up a clean rug from us and the odor isn’t 100% eliminated, we will look at it as we failed and will rewash it. Success is a must!
